OJSC "MTZ" presented a new mine transport machine

Minsk Tractor Plant OJSC presented a new mine transport machine. The debut of the machine took place at an exhibition timed to coincide with the foundation day of OJSC MTZ.

The purpose of the novelty BELARUS MT-503 is the transportation of miners in underground potash mines at a depth of up to 1000 meters along horizontal and inclined arched mine workings, ventilated with a fresh air stream due to general depression. This is not the first machine produced by JSC "MTZ", which is produced specifically for these purposes.

Compared to its predecessor, BELARUS MT-503 has significantly improved functionality and design.

In terms of functionality, the MT-503 received a new German air-cooled DEUTZ engine - more powerful (75 hp instead of 60 hp) and a higher environmental class (third instead of the first). Bridges with shoe brakes have been replaced by bridges with sealed disc brakes operating in an oil bath. The gearbox remained mechanical (4 + 1). The steering is equipped with a hydraulic booster, which provides a turn of the machine when the engine is not running. The capacity of the fuel tank has increased (from 65 to 95 liters).

The machine has a modular design - on the same chassis, it is possible to install other bodies and create cargo-passenger, medical and watering modifications.

BELARUS MT-503 complies with the best foreign samples - this will satisfy the demand for this equipment from enterprises engaged in the development of potash deposits in Belarus and the countries of the Customs Union.
