OJSC "Promagroleasing" for 3 years has been providing charitable assistance to the parish of the Church of the Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky

OJSC "Promagroleasing" has been providing assistance to non-profit organizations that need it for many years, and is also engaged in activities aimed at preserving the historical and cultural values of Belarus. This is a free choice of the company in favor of the obligation to improve the welfare of society by implementing appropriate business practices and allocating corporate resources.

The company has been helping the restoration of the Church of the Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky since 2019, and thanks to the charitable assistance of OJSC "Promagroleasing"  provided to the Parish of the temple, a whole range of restoration and restoration work was carried out.

So for the period 2019-2021. the heating system was modernized in the temple, the walls were plastered, service premises were repaired, a climate control system was installed, new external and internal door blocks were made and installed, and the floors and walls were lined with natural stone in the main part of the temple.

In 2021, it is planned to hold festive events dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the birth of St. Prince Alexander Nevsky.

By the celebration of the significant date, the following stages of work on the restoration and restoration of the temple will be carried out with the help of the charitable support of OJSC "Promagroleasing": completion of the repair of the interior of the temple with the renewal of murals, the manufacture of church furniture for the temple and the altar in particular, the restoration of iconostases and the manufacture of icon cases for ancient icons, installation and commissioning of fire alarms, installation of sound equipment and a video surveillance system, restoration of facades, improvement of the territory adjacent to the church with the installation of exit gates (arches) to the parish territory, installation of architectural lighting for the church, as well as arrangement of the parish spiritual and educational center.

For reference: Alexander Nevsky (3rd Minsk city) deanery of the Minsk diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church is located within the borders of the Soviet district of Minsk. It unites 5 parishes. The center of the deanery is the Alexander Nevsky Church at the Military Cemetery, built at the end of the 19th century and one of the main attractions of the Belarusian capital.

The Alexander Nevsky Church, built in the style of Russian church baroque, was founded in honor of the soldiers who died in the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878. The church has its own choir, there is a Sunday school.
