The performance of Belarusian leasing organizations for the first two quarters of 2025 summarized
Based on data from the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus collected as part of the mandatory reporting requirements of Belarusian leasing organizations, as stipulated by Resolution No. 552 of the Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dated August 29, 2014, the Association of Lessors of Belarus analyzed the performance of Belarusian leasing organizations included in the Register of Leasing Organizations for the first two quarters of 2025. This analysis identified key trends in the development of the Belarusian leasing market this year.
The Association of Lessors implemented the methodology used in its annual rating studies to determine the key indicators of the overall financial and economic performance of leasing organizations. The analysis data is presented as of June 30, 2025.Thus, the total leasing portfolio of Belarusian leasing organizations under financial leasing agreements amounted to 13,921,748,681 Belarusian rubles, which is 1,104,693,382 Belarusian rubles (8.62%) more than on January 1, 2025. A total of 431,194 agreements were active, which is 61,287 agreements more (16.57%) than on January 1, 2025.
The volume of new leasing agreements amounted to 4,577,822,158 Belarusian rubles (146,807 agreements ) — 49.07% of the total value for 2024.
The value of leased assets transferred under financial leasing agreements amounted to 2,735,948,890 Belarusian rubles (214,031 agreemetns ), representing 47.45% of the total for 2024.
Overall, it can be concluded that leasing in the Republic of Belarus is demonstrating robust growth, high business activity, and a professional approach and work in a dynamically changing financial market environment.
