New horizons for export: Promagroleasing explores logistics trends at forum in Vitebsk
On November 20, a logistics forum and workshop, "Goods + Destination = Export," was held in Vitebsk. It focused on the development of Belarusian exports and the search for new ways to deliver goods to foreign markets. The event brought together executives from logistics companies and industrial enterprises, experts in international contracts, as well as representatives from the financial, insurance, and IT sectors. Participants included a representative of Promagroleasing's Vitebsk branch.
The forum served as a practical platform for lively dialogue, discussing current logistics corridors, tariff policies, and export incentive mechanisms.
We share four key trends noted at the event.
Amid ongoing changes in global supply chains, approaches have been revised:
The strategic role of the Eurasian region, whose logistics market is expected to grow rapidly in the coming years, was emphasized. Up to 40% of companies in Eurasia have revised their supply chains over the past three years.
The average cost of international shipping has increased by 25-30%, and delivery period – by 15-20%.
Flexibility as an advantage: not only did the companies that had managed to build flexible and multi-tiered logistics maintain their exports but also increassupply volumes by 10-15%.
Promagroleasing OJSC, striving to be the most effective partner for manufacturers, held active discussions with event participants on the issues that Belarusian exporters face in a changing global environment.
Participation in specialized events, particularly, in the logistics forum, is an opportunity to be at the forefront of discussions on key issues facing our current and potential exporting clients. This allows us to assess all the risks and opportunities associated with export activities. Thus, we not only monitor current trends in the financial sector but also delve into related areas. "We understand all the complexities and challenges Belarusian companies face and, therefore, we can offer them well-considered and effective financial solutions," notes Andrei Vasilevsky, a representative of Promagroleasing's Vitebsk branch.
In particular, to mitigate the risks of entering new markets for clients, Promagroleasing OJSC offers special export support mechanisms. These mechanisms allow Belarusian companies to offer flexible payment terms to foreign counterparties while simultaneously addressing working capital issues.
