The performance of Belarusian leasing organizations for the third quarter of 2025 summarized

Based on data from the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, collected as part of mandatory reporting by leasing organizations (in accordance with Resolution No. 552 of the Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dated August 29, 2014), the Association of Lessors of Belarus analyzed the performance of Belarusian leasing market participants included in the Register of Leasing Organizations for the third quarter of 2025. The study identified key trends in the development of the Belarusian leasing market during this period.

The Association of Lessors implemented the methodology used in its annual rating studies to calculate the aggregate financial and economic indicators of leasing organizations. All data provided is current as of September 30, 2025.

Thus, the total leasing portfolio of Belarusian leasing organizations under financial leasing agreements amounted to 14,500,844,830 Belarusian rubles, which is 1,683,789,531 Belarusian rubles (13.14%) more than on January 1, 2025. A total of 477,671 agreements were in effect, which is 107,764 agreements more (29.13%) than on January 1, 2025.

The volume of new leasing agreements amounted to 6,917,845,489 Belarusian rubles (240,571 agreements), or 74.15% of the total figure for 2024.

The value of leased assets transferred under financial leasing agreements amounted to 4,171,648,131 Belarusian rubles (339,891 agreements ), representing 72.35% of the total for 2024.

The growth of the leasing portfolio and the number of concluded agreements  attest to high business activity and growing confidence among businesses and individuals in this financial instrument. A critical success factor is the professional approach of leasing companies, which demonstrates the ability to quickly respond to changing market conditions and regulatory requirements. This flexibility allows leasing to remain an accessible and sought-after source of financing in a dynamically changing environment.
