Promagroleasing proposed financial solutions for Belarusian-Indian trade cooperation

On September 18, a meeting was held between Belarusian businesses and Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Trade Representative of the Embassy of India in the Republic of Belarus. The event, held at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry,  gathered the heads of leading companies from various industries to discuss specific steps to deepen the economic partnership between Belarus and India .

During the meeting, each participant had the opportunity to address questions and suggestions to the trade counselor. Dmitry Sevizdral, Deputy General Director of Promagroleasing OJSC, presented the company as a  credible financial partner for Belarusian and Indian residents  involved in trade relations.

He noted that the Company has successful experience implementing projects with leading Belarusian exporters. The total volume of Belarusian-made machinery and equipment transferred to non-residents with the participation of Promagroleasing exceeds USD 1 billion.

"In addition to providing commercial leasing services in the domestic market, our company has significant experience and expertise in organizing export financing. We are open to dialogue and ready to serve as a reliable financial partner for businesses in both countries," emphasized Dmitry Sevizdral.

The meeting focused on promising joint projects. As reported, Belarusian and Indian companies have agreed to cooperate in mechanical engineering. The parties also plan to establish assembly plants for Indian tractors in Belarus and Belarusian tractors in India.

In this context, Promagroleasing's proposal for organizing financing represents a practical tool for facilitating the implementation of these joint projects.

 The participants also  considered the efforts to remove existing barriers to trade and economic cooperation, including mutual settlements, visa and market regulations.
