Performance of Belarusian Leasing Organizations for the First Quarter of 2026 Summarized

Based on the data provided by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, collected as part of mandatory reporting by leasing organizations (in accordance with Resolution No. 552 of the Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dated August 29, 2014), the Association of Lessors of Belarus analyzed the performance of Belarusian leasing organizations included in the Register of Leasing Organizations for the first quarter of 2026. The study identified key trends in the development of the Belarusian leasing market during this period.

The methodology used by the Association of Lessors in its annual market rating studies determines the key indicators of the overall financial and economic performance of leasing organizations. The analysis data is provided as of March 31, 2026.

Thus, the total leasing portfolio of Belarusian leasing organizations under financial leasing agreements amounted to 15,117,761,810 Belarusian rubles, which is 348,172,477 Belarusian rubles (2.36%) more than on January 1, 2026. A total of 525,045 agreements were in effect, which is 16,605 agreements more (3.27%) than on January 1, 2026.

The volume of new leasing agreements amounted to 2,166,064,750 Belarusian rubles(80,182 contracts) — 22.97% of the total value of this indicator for 2025.

The value of leased assets under financial leasing agreements amounted to 1,248,694,178 Belarusian rubles (111,937 contracts), representing 22.23% of the total value of this indicator for 2025.

In summary, leasing in the Republic of Belarus is demonstrating a phase of sustainable development. The growth of the leasing portfolio and the number of contracts concluded, particularly in the consumer leasing segment, indicates high business activity and growing confidence in this financial instrument among businesses and individuals.
